"I drove all the way from London, Ontario to this restaurant for a retirement dinner. Food was very nice and the price was very good. We had a private room with karaoke equipment, and everyone had a wonderful time. My friend, who organized the dinner,...said he has checked out several restaurants and found this one was the most reasonable in price. I fully agree. Lots of parking space. The manager and the servers were very nice. Food was very good, considered the price we paid, value is 5 stars. Some restaurants may offer 5 stars food, but at a much more expensive price."

"Regulars!. Great place for fast food with great portions and quality ingredients. My family's favs include Kobe, Deep Fried Tofu with Crispy Noodles (special order!! and Singapore. My 5 y.o. loves this place and my hubby swears by the sweet and sour chicken (no onions . They are great at modifying the menu to suit your taste!"

"We went to China Cottage as a family of 5 + a baby. They were very accommodating for the baby - providing a high chair. The servers were attentive and very interactive. They were helpful with the menu, and once the food was ordered it came out very quickly. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their food. There is a ton of variety on the menu and the lunch menu is very low cost for a mountain of food!This is my favourite hakka restaurant in Markham!Great for spice lovers!"

"Went for dim sum Sunday around noon. This place is massive and there was a huge crowd . The only issue was that they give you a number and then call the number in Chinese when you're table is ready. Do, if you don't speak Chinese you have to ask people around you what number they're calling. Service was incredibly fast. Food was good quality and fresh. It was kind of loud but not surprising given there are a few hundred people in there."

"We haven't been here for a number of years. Good variety of dumplings, noodle dishes etc. primarily caters to Northern Chinese food options. We asked for less salt and oil to be used due to dietary restrictions and they were able to cater to...the request. We enjoyed all the dishes that we ordered except the fried chicken that was dry and salty."

"I call this superb restaurant once a month since I enjoy the good mood that is characterizes this restaurant. The staff is very attentive and professional. The service is exceptionally rapid. Most important, the food they serve is good. I frequent often and I was never disappointed. The payment is modest. I highly suggest this place to to everybody."

"Good quality authentic Chinese food for great price. Less greasy than the bigger congee chains and the portion sizes are larger. They have everything your looking for. The lady that works the front is very nice and helpful.Ordered a party size platter where the lady called me back to let me know that the price has changed, no problem with COVID makes sense.When I went to the store to pick up she showed me the new updated menu with the price changes only to tell me that what I had ordered wasn’t actually the price on the new menu but of another item.Very misleading but none the less tasty and fresh."
