"In all of my life I have never smelt or tasted anything quite like this food. I don’t like slandering businesses but this genuinely needs looking into. Someone is going to be seriously ill if what we received this evening is the norm. The lady on the phone was more than accommodating with our refund so at least the customer service is where it needs to be but the food is genuinely horrendous. We unfortunately won’t be back and I hope the chef/owners do something about the quality/smell of the food that is being produced in that kitchen. As a starter for 10, Curry should not be grey."

"We ordered a take-away from here whilst staying on a caravan rally near Buckfastleigh. Six of us had a set meal for 3 plus 3 Pancake Rolls and a Chow Mien portion and we couldn't eat it all. The Rolls were A1 and all the food was very tasty and hot. The BBQ Spare Ribs were in a delicious BROWN sauce and not the bright red version we so often get. Our order was phoned through and was ready in 15 minutes. Brill service!!"

"China garden has always been a favorite of my partner and I. When I moved into the opposite, she recommended me here as I love Asian cuisine. the personal is always so friendly, welcoming and lazy. always order a beef chow my of them, as it is one of the best I ever had! the bark is beautiful, the noodles are perfectly cooked, all ingredients compliment each other! so good! my partner loves her special chow my, always that when we go to china garden. the spatialities were under maintenance work, but they still have a good waiting area. her prawn toast, is also something I highly recommend! if my partner and I want a tasty bite, we always love to immerse this, and if she doesn't feel the best, a little under the weather she loves the sweetcorn soup, she always makes herself a little better. really friendly staff, incredible eating, massive menu! what more can they ask! I highly recommend it."

"At last, just when we had given up on Newton Abbot food outlets we discovered this Thai jewel. We moved here nearly three years ago and have been disappointed with every Indian restaurant here (especially Ghurkha Chef) and sadly all Fish and Chips outlets none of which can compare with those in Torbay. But Pinto Thai was 'magic '. Proper chicken , nicely carved, fragrant spices, delicate rice, proper vegetables well prepared and cooked. Subtle flavourings. There were five of us really enjoying different meals and all of us so pleased that finally we 'd found somewhere we will return to in Newton Abbot. And, as a bonus, the meals were ready at the time promised, the premises were clean and welcoming and the staff were simply lovely. Pinto Thai is an example to other local restaurants of just how well things can be done. Kudos!"
