"We have been using the Kowloon for over 30 years even before in was on Batley Rd , when it was In Wakefield town centre. We have been tonight and cant believe the quality was so poor the beef was inedible so tough and chewy . The overall set menu was no where near as good as it was . Don't know if it has changed hands when I asked if it was under new management she wouldn't answer. Then to find out the price for the set menu for the same food had increased by £10 . Needless to say we will not be using the Kowloon again. The increase isn't the reason it was the poor quality of the food. How sad for the end of a era."

"I seriously LOVE this place. We get chicken satay, salt and peppers chips fried rice to share between two every time. Everything about this place is great...the service, the food, the price. Will continue to be a regular!"

"MSG , not much else. Definitely not much taste. We left most of the meal. Read the other review and thought we would give it a try. Mistake. At least the 7 year old serving was sweet."

"The food is always top notch, whether you have a tray of noodles or the set meals. You will always find the service and quality of food go hand in glove. The salt and pepper spare ribs are to die for always ask for plenty of gubbins in these)."

"Table booked for 16 people, 3 round tables together gave plenty of room. Plenty of choice on the menu and they did a brilliant job of getting food out to us all as quickly as possible. Food was lovely tasty. If I have any complaints it would be the size of the portion of scampi. Ordered the ultimate plate and only got 9 pieces and around 12 chips with mushy peas. I’ve had larger children’s portions! Other than that it was a lovely relaxed evening with family and all staff was really nice."

"Love this place Ive eaten here many times and its always great Do not take notice of the bad reviews on here as they don't understand the workings of the trade like i do You cannot make spare ribs fresh to order as the time it would take to do that would be such a long time you would certainly complain about it as the preperation work involved is a lot more than you think ,same with the spring rolls They are made onsite You wont find them that size at a frozen food store im certain about that !"
