"The place is clean, portions are generous and the price is reasonable. we especially liked the small corpses (with sweet and acidic sauce) and the egg yolk with brown sugar, which after a spicy eating is light and refreshing. on the other side, although the dry pot of cauliflower was fresh and crispy, it was relatiw salty for our taste. we're not out of seuan, so maybe that's authentic as it should be. for us, however, we will ask them gently next time on the salt (and also chilies). there was only one waitress when we were there, so please be patient when they visit, yet she was very friendly and attentive. the restaurant is quite far from where we live, but definitiw the trip worth! update: 04/21/2022: we came back today to try more dishes. the chopped bell pepper fish fillets came with a lot chili for a delicious kick, while the Pan-seared green peppers were milder and freshly flavored. the salt- and pfeffersuppe rib were richly spiced and equidistantly crunchy. update 04/25/2022: we visited again to enjoy even more dishes. I loved the presentation of the stewed pork with bamboo, and it came with so much tender bambus shooting! the Sichuan style poached fish was not too sharp, but very delicate and scurril. Finally, the sauteed green beans were cooked nicely and seasoned for perfection."

"Great Food Traditional Chinese. I've seen varying reviews on this place and I tend to agree with most but what I don't see is an explanation as to why some people don't like the food, I will cover that.<br/ <br/ When I first went to Hidden Dragon restaurant I tried the American Chinese food and like some others have said it wasn't the best. In fact it wasn't even that good. It was disappointing because I heard the food was exceptional. It wasn't until a few weeks later that I learned Hidden Dragon is known for their traditional Chinese food and not so much for the American version foods like sweet and sour pork etc. I didn't know they served traditional food because there was nothing other than American Chinese on the menu. I learned from a friend that you have to ask for the Chinese menu or they just give you the American Chinese menu, although I suspect this is not the case if you are Chinese. They likely just assume Americans don't want the traditional food and give you the menu with common American Chinese dishes. <br/ <br/ On a followup visit I did ask for the Chinese menu and was pleased to find a huge selection of dishes to try. This visit was a great experience and I tried the Romeo and Juliette (beef tripe) and a hot pot dish. Both were outstanding and more food than I expected. Since then I've been back at least a dozen times and have tried different dishes never being disappointed with the traditional food. <br/ <br/ My advice for anyone going here is to ask for the traditional Chinese menu and I promise you will not be disappointed."

"This is some of the very best Thai food I've had. Period. The restaurant isn't much to look at from the outside, as it's in a dinky strip mall in a concrete wasteland on the outskirts of Ypsilanti, MI. They did recently expand however, taking over the computer store next door. As you could reasonably be expected to wait 20 30 minutes for food once seated previously, the additional wait staff (well, one person currently) and much larger space is very welcome. But everything aside from the food is extraneous if the the former delivers, and by god, it does. The large and fairly varied menu stretches on for 40+ entrees, and after trying quite a few I can wholeheartedly recommend: All 3 curries (red, yellow, green). They are all incredible; if spice is an issue, the green is by far the spiciest of the lot. both fish dishes (choo chee, thai thai special). Fish always makes me nervous when its cooked and smothered in sauce, but the fish here is ALWAYS cooked perfectly and crispy, never soggy. delicious. Tom Kha Gai, a coconut milk/lemongrass brothy soup with chicken. Gai Kra Tiem Prig Thai an irresistible chicken dish made with copious amounts of garlic and thai chili paste. amazing. pretty much EVERYTHING else on the menu. I haven't been disappointed yet (though I've stayed pretty far from the dishes I consider boring, like pad thai and mongolian beef). check it out and support a great local business!"

"While the inside is simple and not much to look at, I give this place a 5-star eating on the sheer greatness of it's food choices. Not only is it super delicious and affordable local Chinese food, but they can make everything on their menu vegan!!! They have a really tasty soy meat substitute that my partner and I are addicted to. Because any menu item can be subbed for the fake meat, I have endless options here. They're dinner portions are also huge, I have never finished it in one sitting (so great for sharing or hey, two meals! I typically just call in for pick-up, however I think they also do near-by deliveries."
