"Longs Kitchen has been a long time dependable go to for a quick and tasty workday lunch. I can only comment on one menu item though - the grilled chicken roll. Have consumed dozens of these things over the years and they are always of a high standard. Filled with the chicken, coriander, cucumber, carrot, lettuce and your choice of hot or sweet chilli sauce, as well as optional fresh chilli, it always hits the spot. The price has risen over the years from $4.90 to currently $5.90, but this is perfectly acceptable. For what it is, highly recommended! Friendly staff are a bonus too, always serving with a smile.

"I've never been compelled to write a bad review before, that is until now. On a quiet night mid week we booked a table of 10. The restaurant had no more than 10 other people it in ( it's quiet a large restaurant) and they seated us in the hottest smallest part of the restaurant. We had to repeatedly go up to the waiters at the bar to request drinks and even water. Their refrigerators were not working well ( I understand that sometime things break and problems can't be helped sometimes) so the wine and beer was not cold. We consistently had to ask for ice buckets to keep our drinks cold ( common sense for the wait staff to offer). We had to again go up to the bar and get a waiter to take our food order. Hopeless! <br>
The food was at best sub-par. We had a banquet of dishes that the head waiter recommended, so we were surprised when many of the dishes were over cooked or were cooked from frozen. <br>
Don't even think about using the bathrooms here. I've seen cleaner bathrooms in Thailand. And don't come here if you have small children. There are no change facilities either, I'm the first one to pop my Bub on a change mat on the floor and change her there. But there was no way in hell I was going to do that here.<br>
The only thing that was enjoyable about the night was the lovely company ( and the bottle of wine we BYO'ed). <br>
Please do yourself a favour and eat else where!"

"Had the $6.50 bucks and big coffin special. pastry was excellent, best since europa, and big coffee (mocha did exactly right) and at $6.50 is fantastic worth."

"I order through Uber Eats quite a bit and the food is just gorgeous...I can recommend the corn and feta fritter. The salads are devine. I can also recommend the vegan chocolate cupcake; being a committed omnivore I was a little nervous to try something...different but oh my goodness it was worth it! I loved their pop-up store in Gawler and am sad it has gone! Keep up the great work."
