"My wife and I came down from Toowoomba for footy at the Gabba, and stayed at a nearby hotel. On the way to the afternoon match, we walked past this place and the smells wafting from the open door were amazing. It was not open for lunch on the Saturday, but guy even offered to serve us which we politely declined. We vowed to return for dinner. The setting is small but not crowded, and we had a nice booth, with an amazing little chandelier, like our own little piece of Bangladesh. But then the food! My wife and I both love Indian food, and this has to be one of the best. The meals had the flavour expected from the dishes. Service was exceptional. This is really a place you need to come to for great Indian food."

"Very satisfying curry. Chicken tikka masala was not too sweet and not fatty. Probably the least oily takeaway curry I've had. Naan bread was really good too. Would recommend."

"I went to JK Restaurant Tandoor few days ago, honestly my experience has been worst eating at this Indian Restaurant in Brisbane. I ordered their mixed meat platter which mainly only had chicken. Chicken wasn't fresh and other meat was also not cooked to standard. Naan were burned and Lassi wasn't good at all and salad had only onions. Customer service was poor and overall it wasn't a hygenic place. I felt unwell after having dinner from here, surprised to see their high rating on Google. I just hope they will improve their food quality and service in future."

"Visited the restaurant today's afternoon and have ordered Chicken Masala, chicken Karahi, garlic n cheese naan, lacha paratha and mango lassi. Food was oily but taste was really good. EFTPOS is not working so they wanted cash which didn't bother me. I would visit the restaurant again."

"Maharani had been highly recommended to us. So we took a punt. The owners are friendly however the food was not as good as we had hoped. The lamb korma was colourless and had no taste and the butter chicken was not much better the chicken was very dry. Pakora was dense and not freshly cooked and Naan was like cardboard, although the dogs enjoyed it ."
