"I planned a movie and dinner date this past weekend, for my boyfriend’s birthday, since we were going to be in the Pasadena area. Prior to his birthday, I tried several times making a reservation online, up to no avail. So, I tried calling several times and finally one afternoon at exactly noon, the phone rang and someone picked up (harp music playing)! Not only was I was able to make a reservation for the date and time I wanted, but I was also able to request to sit in the tall private booths in the corner of the restaurant. I loved how everyone was professional, courteous, and attentive. They had nicely decorated our table with birthday confetti and wished my boyfriend a happy birthday several times. The food itself was divine! I can see why this is a highly rated steakhouse, as the food truly did not disappoint. We both got the Ruth’s classic 3 course meal. My boyfriend’s steak was cooked medium rare just like he likes it, while mine was well done like I like it. The steak was well seasoned, juicy, and tender. The lobster was also very good, but for sure the steak was the star of the show! We will definitely come back to Ruth’s Chris in the future!"
