"We recently visited the Barley Mow in Brockville for lunch on a Friday. The restaurant was not very busy, probably because of the festival going on in the downtown area. Our server was very friendly and attended to us quickly. I had the fish and chips. The piece of fish was very big, covering almost the entire plate. There was a huge amount of fries, enough for 2 people. I do not like a lot of batter with my fish and this one came with a thin coat of batter. However, it was a bit greasy and I only had some of it. My friend had a chicken wrap and fries. Her sandwich was tasty. I would like to send a shout-out to our server, Marida, who went out her way to make sure that we were fully satisfied with our meal. If you are looking for pub fare, this Barley Mow is a good place to go."

"Love A&W, love that you can get the burgers wrapped in lettuce (maybe not so much lettuce next time). The sweet potato fries and best root beer are icing on the cake."

"We arrived at their Brockville ON location at approximately 8pm on October 12th. Could see at least a dozen empty tables. When we walked in, we were told it would be at least 30 mins to wait. So we asked if we could at least be seated to wait. The answer was 'no '. We left, went across the street to Barley Mow 's had an excellent meal and gave an very generous tip. Not sure what happened at Kelsey 's but we won 't be going back to that location ever again."
