"I travel a fair bit for work & I typically leave my hotel to find somewhere to eat. The clean & striking colour of this refurbished restaurant prompted us to pay it a visit & we're glad we did. We'd been to the previous incarnation & it was okay but generally uninspiring. The new layout & decor is far, far better. An attractive & appealing environment. The menu is typically pub style but diverse so there is something for everyone. We had two servers, one experienced, the other in training, both were excellent. Food & drinks arrived promptly. Sorry, guys, I left it too long before doing the review & I've forgotten your names. Next time! We went for the steak & kidney pie, & the bangers & mash, both were good. The patio is small but very pleasant. An out of sight smoking area, with a seat, would be a welcome addition. Great job & keep up the good work."

"I have enjoyed the new Cod wrap and sandwich in the Peterborough A W and thought I would try the Cobourg location. It was so filthy I couldn't bring myself to order. The doors to the bathroom are grimy and haven't been cleaned in...some time. The windows and glass doors are not clean. The pavement outside the restaurant even looks grimy. We never even attempted the food in those surroundings. Too bad. It is a great franchise."
