"Some friends visited miami, it was my idea to go into the ghost bar for eating drinks. I made a reservation for a high table. at the arrival I was told to sit on my reserved table, I had to have a minimum of $250 on a bottle (which was not specified online when I made my reservation) to the luck they were somewhat slow that we were sitting at the bar."

"Enjoyed our meal at CJ Blacks. Definitely recommend splitting something because the meals are massive and quite expensive. Everything on the menu is about $20/plate. Menu is a bit much/overwhelming…lots of options for food: sushi, burgers, BBQ, tavern food, etc. but something for everyone to enjoy."

"We've been in the past a few times (not for several months), and we're relishing their back ribs dinner. During our recent visit, 3 of us ordered 4 full plates and the 4th ordered a strip steak dinner. The ribs pass into two plates, one on top of each other. About 1 1/2 cups sauce was carefully on the top, with no on the bottom rack (not good). The sauce is not cooked on the meat (not good). The sauce immediately shed and drowned most of my sweet potato fries (not good). At my first bite I thought you changed the sauce! Not good! The sauce was plagued by a very strong, unconventional taste that we could not completely identify, but it was NOT GOOD. I asked the other two Rib Diners what they thought about the sauce. My friend said I don't know, but it's not as good as before. His wife folded her nose and replied, I can't say what it is, but I don't like it. The flesh was tender and juicy, and there was a lot of it. They weren't cracking bones! So we took all the overhauled ribs home with the intention of flushing all the lukewarm sauce from them and adding our own, more traditional. The steak was o.k., the hornbread went uneaten according to a taste, the cheesy spinach dip was very good, the chicken quesadilla was too heavy (taste and texture both). The melted chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream was very good, while the key lime cake was too sweet and tasted as if it was dipped from a mixture without whipped cream! Service was cheerful and friendly, and the drinks were very fair. In so far as we went to cowboys for the ribs, we will not return to cowboys. Who is in the kitchen knows how to cook ribs of scratches, but does not know what to do next."
