"Great atmosphere and good prices. Had the pulled pork and beef brisket. Both had quite alot of dried out pieces. No sauce. Sweet potato fries ok, but old fries were put on bottom of bowl and fresh ones on top. Fresh ones however very tasty. Kids had mozzie-sticks. For me it was delicious! But it had a bite to it which is not stated on your menu and my daughter who loves mozzarella sticks but not spicy food didn't appreciate it. Overall tasty. And nice vibe."

"Super impressed with the service the staff provided. Friendly and efficient. We ate there pretty late and weren't made to feel like we were inconveniencing them at all, although it was almost closing time. Will be recommending them to family and friends for sure The food was delicious and they have great menu. Thanks to Jack and his team for a great experience."

"Had some time to venture out today… Decided to pop into The Banksia Tree Cafe for some brunch Service started out a bit unwelcoming at first, but it smoothed out during the duration of our visit and we left full and happy! __________________________________ EDIT Response to owner’s comment We appreciate you being able to eventually accomodate us however… I did try to call and make a booking today and was specifically told that you didn’t take bookings only walk ins (it wasn’t clarified till later when we got there that you don’t take on the day bookings). When I called at 10:30, I asked if there would be any tables at 12. The reply I received was “yeah we are busy now, it should be good by then”. It wasn’t good when we got there at 12 (understandably this is out of your control, but the events that follow were not). The waitress left us outside in the rain with a toddler as she proceeded to promptly move 2 other tables inside (and we were certain that we were there before 1 of them). To top it off, the waitress didn’t offer us a table inside, we had to ask! Even then, she said, 'oh if I can’t get you a table, inside, do you want takeaway instead ' dismissively. Hope you treat the next customer a bit more kindly."

"Went for lunch the other day, food was lovely and came out very quickly also very reasonably priced. The young guy who served us was very friendly helpful. The decor inside is beautiful there was easy access for my pram which was great. Will definitely go back again!"

I really enjoy coming here at any time of the day, whether it is to grab a coffee, to have lunch the vegie platter is amazing!! or for some sweet treats $8.50 for a tasting plate of deserts best deal ever! The young woman on the counter is always super friendly and makes a mean long black. :"

"What happens when the food is so delicious? You forget to click a picture of it! Since this place is located on the waterway adjacent to the Adelaide oval and the Uni adelaide, this place was the regular spot for post lunch desserts. We loved the ice creams, gelatos here and the coffee! We've had some pies and cakes here but sadly, it was so tasty to sit and memorize the names.
