This place is as authentic as it gets. Located literally in the shadow of a deep water pier, it's like Ireland in Canada. Simply a great experience."

"It was our first time going and it was great. Michael was our server and bravo! His personality off the bat was awesome! Very welcoming. He was very informative on the menu. He was very quick bringing drinks. He was the only waiter and he was so tentative to all the tables. The food was very good. I got the chicken caesar wrap. The tortilla was so fresh! Dan got the Texan burger and the toppings that were on it was a great deal for the price. (We did 50/50 with the main courses) we both wernt to fussy on the buns. It was fresh though just the texture. 10/10 I would go back!"

"I joined 2 friends for lunch here last week. My choice was a steak sandwich which I added sweet potato fries and a soda. The steak sandwich was ordered medium rare but came more like medium or medium to well. It was good no complaints...except the over done ness. The meat was tasty and the swept potato fries were excellent with a dipping sauce with a hint of heat. Over all the meal was good and I would certainly go back again. The cost for the steak sandwich, upgrade of fries and a soda pop, with tip came to almost $30.00."

"Usually love Scroggies. Unfortunately this time around the service was terrible. We had to go up to the bar several times to order our own drinks. When she dropped the wings off, she didn’t even bother to ask if we needed anything else even though...our drinks were empty. Whoever worked the night shift on Sept 23rd needs to have a bit more training or manners. She was attentive to the people at the bar but not to the booths/tables. Another table commented that they were not getting service so they just got the bill and left too. Unfortunate.. The chicken wings we had were tasty in flavour. We will be back but we hope that the service is better next time."
