"Saw "blue-cod" on the menu and asked about it, since I hadn't heard about it. Was told that it is "very similar to pollock" (with a smile from the waitress). Since only 1,300 tons are caught every year and only in New Zealand shallow waters, I suspect it was pollock. Was askd whether I wanted "regular" batter or a "thin" batter. I ordered regular and was shocked to get two fillets that were 90% batter/10% fish. In addition, the batter was fairly mushy, indicating that the oil wasn't at a high enough temperature. Slow service, warm fries, left waitng to pay. Overall, for me, a very poor experience. Probably the worst fish and chips I have had in my life.....and believe me, I have had many...some in great places and some in average places. Only reason it got two stars instead of one is that the waitress did well trying to look after my grandkids."

"The vibe in here reminded me of an old beer hall, and I thought that fit perfectly. The menu probably isn't great for particularly picky eaters, but I got the bento box and found that it gave me a lot of options that I wasn't expecting. I actually wish I could've had more of the chicken given to me in the box it was the best part! It was pretty busy on a Friday night, but our food still came out pretty fast."

"Our reservation was for 5:45 to secure us enough time to enjoy our meal and make it to the theatre until 7:45. we ordered dinner at six because the waitress asked if we went to the theater and said she wanted to make sure we had enough time to eat. 7 she came out and said she was feeding only a party of 25 and ours was next!? at 7:30 o'clock I called her over and told her to bring her the scary for the drinks and keep the dinner. there was no possibility that we ate and made it in time. She apologised and not really her fault. the kitchen staff should be accused. concerning the food, I can not comment, never get, but prime rib had better on place 50.00"

"You had no record of our booking and when I produced the email, we were not welcome at all. The younger employees ran around and were very polite when you got their attention, but over all service was terrible. The risotto was like rice pudding, but the rest of the food was nice. We had to go after 2 hours and didn't even have the pudding menu, it was father's day and she seemed surprised that they were busy."
