"We had been wanting to try this place for a bit now. The atmosphere was good and the service was great, the staff were friendly and attentive. The food, though tasty and flavourful, was quite small in portion for the money charged. We had the avocado/guacamole starter, and there were far too few chips with the dip. The burger options don't come with any side of fries, though the curry and pulled pork dishes have sides of rice. They have a sort of happy hour between 5h00-7h00pm where 2 cocktails are 12£ (standard price about 9£ at time of writing), which is pretty good, except the drinks are largely just ice... Not impressed really"

"Used to be a great after hours coffee/drinks/ meals but, sadly, the door policy (even for those considerably over 18), is photo-id only. OK, maybe most people carry photo ID now, but it isn't the law. So, 1.30am on a Saturday, with empty tables inside, the manager insists on no photo ID, no entry. We've been going there for 30 years but in recent years, we've noticed the change of vibe. Skip it: get in a cab and go to Quaglinos instead: better club, no entry fee, better staff."
