"In from out of state, chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday because of the reviews on Open Table. Wanted sushi for dinner. Food and service were excellent! It's a bit of a construction zone outside the restaurant, but don't let that deter you. Great sushi, wonderful people!"

"This place will see us again. amazing eating and kombucha. the cook prepared two off-menu specialties - the firecracker (a chicken sando with sesamsamsamslaw) and the jambi (a chicken sando on French toast with vegan roasted egg and plantain bacon). burgers arw served with fresh fries and ketchup taste homemade. both were amazing."

"AMAZING food!! The ramen was the closest thing I've tasted to Okinawa ramen. The staff was amazing and attentive. The guy at the register was patient and knowledgeable about the food and our food arrived super fast. Also the booths by the windows have an amazing golf course view. Can't wait to come back."

"Don't be fooled by the nondescript exterior, this unassuming eatery is a hidden gem. Food is always ready for pick up within twenty minutes of the order. I am a vegetarian, and after two years of ordering consistently from them, I have yet to tire of the falafel over rice with extra white and red sauce). Yesterday I added the Sweet Potato Ginger Soup and a slice of carrot cake. Delicious, freshly-prepared, true to its cultural roots, well-priced and a wide selection that should please any palate; their staff is always warm and friendly. A cafe nearby which I also enjoy) charges double for their carrot cake, which may be as good, but certainly not better. Hop in for a bite next time you get off at Oceanside Train Station, or order for pick up next time you are hungry and don't want to splurge."

"There was a handful of time. Mostly, it was a pick-up job. That was the second time I ever got in. The first time they opened first. Today the food was exceptionally good. I ordered the brisket with a side of herb and cabbage. The brisket was tender, juicy and not excessively drunk. The greens and cabbages were beautifully spiced. The cabbage had a sweet buttery taste and it had a bit of a crisp (what I prefer). The staff was friendly and attentive. They offered a good service. The only negative was that the lighting could be a tad brighter, especially for tables near the back (from the bathrooms). Otherwise this was a very pleasant experience."
