"Visited Boca for brunch based on great reviews and trendy/cute decor. Overall, it was an OK experience. The service was nice but not overly attentive. It was pretty busy but we got our food in a timely manner. We had the fried green tomatoes without cheese, which were really good! Ordered a Kipos salad with shrimp which was very tasty too. Unfortunately, even after asking if the corn beef hash was good.. and was told it’s a great dish for corned beef lovers (like myself) I was highly disappointed because the protein WAS NOT corned beef. How are you going to have something listed on your menu and serve something completely different? And recommend it to someone based off of that? The white of the egg was also not cooked through so I had to pick around my dish."

"My husband and I came here for our 6 year anniversary tonight and it was fabulous! We had the wild mushroom bisque which was divine and worth coming back for alone. The black pearl oyster mushrooms were complex and incredible! We also had the backed sun shrimp and they were delicious and the Mahi had Indian flavors that I adore and fish was just perfection in the sauce with the little carrots. Oh My.. then there was one of my favorite endings to any meal I've ever had. The pecan brown butter tart with the raisins.. One of my favorite meals I've had in Sarasota! Also I rarely drink and am not a huge beer fan honestly but I decided to try the sea quench dogfish beer and it was delicious! Easily could have drank 2. Again it was delicious and we look forward to coming back."

"Waited over an hour for a table at 1130 on a Thursday. Had the vegan French toast. It was dry and not very good. The thimble of syrup it came with didn't help. Sweet potato toast was good. Tofu scramble was oily. I wouldn't go again when project coffee is better and a block away."

"From the door being opened for us, to the moment we walked out, the experience at State Street was celestial. The libations were on point and I thoroughly enjoyed two orders of the Holla Peña, it had a wicked nice kick! Their fresh, homemade bread was excellent and served with a nice side of salted butter. My date took the special. The filet with the dauphine pommes and enjoyed it very much. She couldn’t stop smiling. I had the Pork Ragu and I’ll say…it is something I’ll fantasize about for sometime to come. LOL It was CHOICE. Our server Connor was so polite, timely, knew how to read cues and overall made it the best experience out dining in a while. It’s all how you take care of patrons with pacing and knowing your menu. He also had some friendly recommendations for the rest of our date and couldn’t have asked for better time. We will be back."

"My hubby I were looking for some authentic Mexican food chose this place based on the wonderful reviews we read. This small place in what used to look like a trendy place from days gone by wasn't an issue for us. We have been in worse had better authentic Mexican food. One woman who seemed like the manager was friendly. We ordered a falafel (black bean) taco. Wished they had real beans for the taco. The taco was supposed to have pico, and cilantro with the taco. We did not get what was described. It tasted so horrible that we didn't even eat it. We were surprised that we were charged $5 for a can of beer too. My hubby wanted to complain but I didn't want him to. So we just left."
