Not a scrape of veg and not a skinny piece of dry bread loaded with butter. Teamo’s fruit toast, is like having the Willy wonka golden ticket experience. With your on the side options. Flavoursome!! "Just ordered a chicken and cheese sandwich got strange little bit of chicken yucky cheese and stale bread no butter asked for butter that arrived with much reluctance I tried to eat it but just the middle bit the bread as it was so stale...Said to owner that I shouldn’t have to pay for that and he could see most of it still on my plate as could not eat it he said then you should have sent it back untouched you ate it you pay How can a cafe get a chicken sandwich wrong Don’t go to this place use to be one of the best in town new owners have wrecked it Don’t waste your money It’s just yucky Owner obviously wants to go out of business quickly"

"We were in Tamworth for the weekend and after a couple of average meals elsewhere we were recommended to try The Tamworth. Glad we did, the food was great. Simple menu, well cooked with quality ingredients and good sized portions. The staff were super friendly and the service was spot on. We had a big group (11 of us) but i didn't hear one complaint and everyone was more than happy with their meals - they all looked delicious. It's a beautiful old pub as well, nice ambience. Reading the reviews here it looks like it's under new management so they must be in process of renovating and freshening the place up whilst making the most of it's character.. Keep up the good work - you're on a winner with the kitchen."

"Prompt service, water on table as we sat down, didn't have to ask. Good menu selection and reasonably priced. Lunch service was quick. Staff very pleasant. Clean environment and the burgers were yummy ????"
