"Very disappointed with service and food. This uses to be one of my favorite spots last year and beginning this year. After I moved to the south-west side, I am back twice and I must say that I will never come back. Both times the food was disgusting. I ate them and drove them 45 minutes to be disappointed. My friend wings were under cook and my food had a fishy taste and the service was VERY SLOW. We had to ask several times for refills on our drinks and not end our food because it was under cooking and had a strange taste. I even expressed my concerns to the manager after I had paid my bill completely, and there were no signs that he was worried or annoying. Very disappointed and sad because this use to go the place to for hot, fully boiled, delicious seafood. We do not recommend you to go at all. You will be very disappointed. I recommend new management and servers. Will give 0 stars if I could."

"I've always been a fan of Jax since I used to frequent the Bellaire location. I prefer this location because it has a bar that you can sit at and order instead of using the counter service. I really wish this place would upgrade and add more TVs. I know it's not a sports bar but even though it could be a really good one at least improve the TV situation. Could be a great place for game watch parties.Food here is generally always good. They have a great variety and daily specials. I'm always impressed by the service and kitchen staff. Top notch for sure and runs like a well oiled machine.Last time I came I noticed they changed their menus and just laminated printouts that were poor quality. If you're going to laminate basic printer paper at least make sure the copy is readable and doesn't look like a poor copy. See one of the attached pics."

"The food was not good. I had the chicken and waffles with Parmesan truffled grits. The chicken was dry. The waffles were soft. The grits were not edible. The truffle oil wasjust overpowering. You could smell the oil across the table. Temperature of the food was slightly warm. We also had the calamari which was very tough. My daughter had the macaroni and cheese with crawfish. Added large shrimp to the dish. She said it was delicious. I would not recommend this restaurant. Definitely not worth"
