"Visited this place on the way from funchal to valley of the now. we ordered to share an espatada, and this part was enough for 2 people to fulfill. we asked to grill meat well and cook it exatcly as we wanted. also a side was included. Sweet potatoes was amazing. poncha was homemade and delicious. service was attentive and friendly. very good recommendations for this place."

"I spotted their A board offering a Tuna steak from €7 we did our shopping then had to find this hidden gem again. It did not disappoint. The staff were attentive, the small portion was perfect for lunch and the taste was simply AMAZING! I asked for the recipe for the sauce it was so fabulous they were happy to share the information. When we finished our meal they brought us a free Madeira wine and left us the bottle if my friend hadn't stopped me, I'd still be there! They made us so welcome and all for less than €25"

"Had a delicious lunch here to try some of the local delicacies which didn’t disappoint.Maderia does offer some delicious local dishes and they are cooked to perfection here. We shared the grilled limpets, chicken skewers and broad bean salad, all freshly prepared. Well worth a visit!"
