"My wife and I ate here yesterday. The restaurant was not crowded at all. Maybe 30% capacity. After we were seated the waitress took our order. I ordered a sirloin medium well. Then the waitress brought us bread and butter. She did not bring any eating utensils. Before I could ask she scurried away. We looked for her but she was no where to be found. Pretty difficult to cut and butter bread without a knife. So I went to the wait staff station to get eating utensils and waitress said she would bring some to my table. 5 minutes later someone brought the utensils to our table. The bread was cold by then. When the waitress brought our dinner the sirloin looked like it could walk off the plate. The plate was drenched in blood. I cut the sirloin and it was cooked medium rare. So after searching for our waitress I asked for the sirloin to be cooked longer. The baked potato and the sirloin had so much salt on them that It ruined the meal. Not sure if they did that because I returned the sirloin or if it just what they do there. Service and meal were extremely disappointing. I would recommend that you ask for no salt and season it at the table."

"For me sadly I can only give 3 stars and here 's why:Good: Staff was friendly, atmosphere was clean but average, food was average,not the best at all but tolerable (see next paragraph)Bad: Overpriced small portions, food was bland, almost tasteless like it came out of a Hungry Man frozen dinner box, very small selection of choicesOverall: Not terrible but extremely disappointing. I feel like it could of been more but sadly it comes up short. Sadly, I 've will not be returning, so I can 't recommend this place. I do hope it gets better over time, but from what I saw, that sadly may not happen."

"My wife and I went to Charley G's for the first time to celebrate a belated Valentines Day meal. We love the ambiance, gumbo, filet, and pineapple wood grilled shrimp. As a former Cafe' owner we could tell that food prepared fresh with pride. The atmosphere and service was top notch. We split the Cream Brule for dessert and realize we were so full that we should come back for just dessert and coffee one evening."

"4.3 stars: black caffe was definitiw a jewel that was fucked away in an otherwise average suburb. I was tempted by her famous big black burger so I had to stop for it. the burger was perfectly cooked without sacrificing juiciness and with speck and a fried egg everything they want in a burger. none of us ever tried Scotch eggs, so we ordered one. in the Chinese, the word for deep fried egg and the word for the bomb are homophone (sounds exactly the same; only different meanings) and the Scotch egg was quite literally bombed. it was so delicious that we ordered more. both the verbal compassion and those who came first were suspicious, but I preferred the pork. it was well seasoned and very filled. we also have a café au lait and a espresso. the coffee was just in order. my family and I ended our meal with a order of rignets and to my surprise the mini-beignets were warm and fluffy. in the midst of all controversial and hate crimes committed in recent years against the black and Asian races, I think it is important to support each other. Sure, my family and I have some stars going, but they still have a great customer service and that's all I can ask."

"Holy Schnikies... This place... The atmosphere was awesome... The staff was knowledgeable, fun, and great at their trade. The Zaesar salad may not look super special but the dressing was top notch. The duck with honey soy glaze was as good as anything I've had in France."
