"Picked based review on Yelp. Good place. Closes at 9 only negative. Wait staff friendly and helpful. Great choices. Price reasonable. Ate an evening meal so cannot comment on lunch or brunch. Would definitely go again. Went during week so not sure how crowded it can get. Noise level moderate, but again went during week. Go for it. You will enjoy it!!"

"I have a future mother-in-law who loves a frying south-style brunch. She recently introduced me to Jimmy's famous tavern. My first instinct was to stay away from fried chicken, but as they say, "if in Rome." Luckily I did not hesitate to order “The Bubba” which is her roasted chicken with apple wood smoked bacon, sunny side on egg, homemade cookies and sausage sword. That was a big decision. Her fried chicken is from this world. Perfectly crispy, light and fluffy, tender and juicy. In other words, it was perfection."

"Tried and true Southern comfort food that has been a staple in Atlanta for decades. Famous for fried chicken, fresh vegetables, pork chops, mac n cheese, cornbread the list goes on. Our party of 5 really enjoyed a variety of options and we left full and extremely satisfied. Prices are reasonable and the service is great. It had been a few years since I'd been here but I was reminded as to why I should come more often."

"The food was outstanding! Best we've had! My husband had the Salmon and asparagus. He said both were perfectly cooked! We shared the mushroom caps and those were amazing! Our server was sweet and prompt in serving our food hot. The banquet hall wasn't at all festive for a Christmas event. Felt more like eating at a nursing home."
