"My (very fussy) father raves about this place and took me there for dinner tonight. Wow. Just fantastic flavours. Huge portions. We couldn't eat it all and we were happily given take away containers so we could take home the leftovers. Great place and will definitely be back!"

"Our last minute booking was received and we arrived on time to be shown to our table towards the back of the restaurant. The fit out is interesting a small bar area at the front with fluoro lights and chalk boards with pasta recipes, cocktail menu and specials written on them . Near where we sat there was a magnificent chandelier , a bigger bar which was also where chefs prepared the cold entrees and meat and cheese boards. We order drinks and peruse the menu. The new spring menu was full of delicious options so we chose the new additions. First up to have with our Prosecco we have the chargrilled zucchini bruschetta— so good! After that we shared a side of Brussel sprouts in a balsamic dressing with red onions. Our mains were chicken in a romesco style sauce generous size and a baked salmon on a caprese salad base. They were both filling and looked as good as they tasted. We could not resist the sound of the desserts Eton Mess and brownie with real chocolate sauce, ice cream and caramel popcorn also both winners. Good value meals served by friendly and efficient staff. They are also doing Christmas parties so go try Jamie’s you’ll have a great time."

"TL;DR: Now this is the place where it is for sure that they know their regulars well, and that there would be a number of them from close by and far around. It is all in order here, with effective customer service, good quality food that is wholesome and inventive (you will be coming back) and an environment that definitely an appeal to it. "Pappa Rich has been a popular eatery at Brisbane CBD since opening in 2015. The restaurant specialized in a large selection of Malaysian cuisine, specialty drinks and desserts. We were there for Friday lunch and ordered: plain roti (x2), Ipoh koay teow soup with steamed chicken, Nasi lemak with fried chicken and Tek C special milk tea.<br>

The plain roti arrived within 15min. The freshly made roti presents an appetising golden crust with strong buttery scent. Taste was on the sweet and buttery side with right amount of chewy vs softness. Although traditionally it’s ordered with curry sauce but we find the roti already flavourful enough to be eaten plain. 4.5/5<br>
