"Had a veg thali with a bowl of Champaran style Mutton. Each of the veg items in the thali had their own signature taste. The Sukto left me guessing, as to what was used as an ingredient to achieve that taste. Finished the thali, then moved on to the Champaran Mutton with another two rotis... The mutton was perfectly done and it's taste was beautifully balanced. Did not find it extra rich, then what it really should be. The staff and the cook were very friendly and helped us arrive at our decision over the food, to be consumed. Shall, definitely visit again, to try out its order unique roadside dishes from across the country... Two veg thali and One bowl of Champaran Mutton was of 700 bucks.."

"This was I believe my 50th plus visit to this legendary regional Assamese speciality restaurant, which our family has been patronising for the past 25 years plus and in my most recent visit, the same taste, portion size and service greeted us! <br/>We went for the vegetarian vyanjan thali and added steamed fish in mustard cooked in banana leaves and fish slow smoked in bamboo hollow. This was the tastiest I had eaten in a few moons. <br/>The vyanjan thali is an amalgamation of all regional favourites starting with Kharoli, kahudi, khorisa and the all time Assamese favourites khaar and aloo pitika. <br/>The Tate still remains the same and this is perhaps why I visit every time I’m back in guwahati. <br/>Service is absolutely fabulous and you are always greeted with smiles and courtesy. <br/>Hope this place always stays the way it has been for years. An absolute must once you are in Guwahati."

"I went out for lunch this Sunday and was pleasantly surprised at the range of food offered. The servers were really polite and were happy to recommend. A soft Middle Eastern song helps in setting the right mood. We ordered the mezze platter, lamb kibbeh, tagine, zafrani tahdig, date icecream and baklava and Jasmine ice tea and an Apricot drink to wash it down. The food was instgrammable as well a delectable. I was immensely satisfied with the tahdig and the tagine. Must try. Also the lamb kibbeh falls apart in your mouth and really juicy. I think this will be a perfect place for a date or even a family outing. All in all immensely satisfied. And the prices are a little steep, but the ambience, the service and the food does demand so."
