"Food was unique and very well prepared. Selection was outstanding. All the dishes were top notch. Service was great, although the place was 3/4 empty so the staff had a lot of free time. Still, I believe they would have been quite attentive regardless. My only below average comment is about the bartending. I ordered a Rusty Nail, my usual. A few minites later the bartender brings me a Salty Dog...I notice the salted rim and I say, Is that mine? She looks at it and says, Oh, I made a Salty Dog by mistake. She returns the drink and double checks me for the ingredents, I tell her Scotch and Drambuie on ice , she replys ...whiskey and Drambuie! She mixes another drink. Now she brings me a whiskey sour with a lime garnish...I take it. After that I order off the speciality cocktail menu and the drinks are great."

"Fantastic place to get dinner. 10/10 for ambiance. 10/10 for food. 10/10 for service. It was definitely a treat. Didn’t really know what was going to be served until you arrived and sat down. The dishes were all unique and flavorful. Don’t want to spoil too much but would go back for sure."

"Wood and Vine is my absolute favorite Hollywood spot. You can't get better ambiance, food, or service. Wally and the entire wait staff are absolutely wonderful. This was my birthday at Wood Vine and I can tell you that it gets better and better. Every dinner, party, or event I've ever been to at Wood Vine is always beyond what I expect and the food is delicious. The chicken and waffles, Mac and cheese, and at least desserts are a must. Thank you everyone at Wood Vine for giving me a favorite tradition and my favorite place to go on my birthday every year. (And a lot of Saturday's in-between"

"Two times in a weekend visiting Hollywood and Universal Studios. The only thing better than the terrace view was the food! You must either pay the $10 to pay your car, or walk on the hill if you can find somewhere to park on the floor. I would recommend the Tequila sunrise breakfast. I had it both times! If you expect to go on weekends, wait an hour if you don't show up very early. While you can wait at one of the tables of yashimuro sushi (it is at the same place). The garden is a fun check-out and there is a bar near the garden. Do not forget to say hi to Buddha and a coin on his belly!"
