"I've been a customer since 1970ish with a couple of decade's gap due to living elsewhere and cashflow etc. Stuck indoors now so have been using their great delivery service for a couple of years when funds allow. Truly warm, sincere owners and staff, not just polite and friendly but they treat customers as friends, whilst still offering an exceptional service that is rare. Their attitude is the same whether we order regularly or only rarely. That their customers tend to be regulars proves how exceptional they are. Even expensive central London restaurants that I've been invited to can't match the service as those usually treat customers as fast turnaround cash cows, with superficial politeness, false smiles and no sincerity; and the food is often not nice. This lower cost EXCEPTIONAL restaurant shames those others and is a rarity for its consistently good food and personal service. They take great care with EVERY dish. They are closed on Mondays but I was desperate for a take away yesterday so ordered from elsewhere – big mistake! The chicken had a strange texture and tasted funny so I threw it away and even the prawn crackers were stale – one worryingly discoloured. So I didn't have much money left today but still had a bad taste from the other take away, so I ordered a couple of meals from the wonderful Eastern Palace to treat my palate! WHAT a revelation! Shocking what the other take away produced and yet still manages to stay in business! It made me appreciate even more how wonderful my favourite restaurant [Eastern Palace] is! Next time I will rather fast if they are closed than order from elsewhere : A lesson learned at a cost! Eastern Palace meals use GOOD QUALITY fresh ingredients and are perfectly cooked – and CONSISTENT so that you always know what to expect. I trust them utterly, which is critical with food. It would be impossible for me to recommend them more highly."
