"As a former restaurant owner I 've never written a review before because often people are unfair in their criticism; but after the terrible, terrible experience I had at the Rumrunner I had to say something since their hospitality practices are an embarrassment to the service industry as a whole. Seriously, the reviews here don 't lie. The prices for what they serve in both quality and quantity is outrageous! $11 for a plate of house fries, 4 oz of heat-lamp warmed fries with a few strings of questionable parmesan cheese on them? $20 for greasy nachos with 1oz of pre-made salsa and a few jalapeños on top? (If you want sour cream and guacamole, it 's another $6! C 'mon guys! The service was at best, a 2/10. On 3 occasions when we needed something we had to get up from the table to hunt down our server to ask for them. I know businesses are just recovering and we are all trying to support them by going out, but if this is the best the Rumrunner can do (i.e.: The surly bartender could acknowledge customers instead of ignoring them I 'd recommending spending my recovery dollars elsewhere. From my experience, the Rumrunner relies too heavily on the (truly epic view of Mount Baker and doesn 't care about the basics of hospitality, or the customers. ."
