"Located inside the Sheraton Hotel, Biver is a good lounge spot even if you aren't staying at the hotel. They had a small dessert selection, each was 9$. The three that I tried were tasty. The lemon tart was good but nothing fantastic, the cod tails which are like donuts were hot and covered in maple syrup and the chocolate pyramid was by far my favourite and very yummy. A little expensive but the atmosphere is laid back and relaxing."

"We had booked reservations for dinner for the 3rd night of stay, but we thought let 's go for drinks on our 1st night. As soon as we walked in the waitress very rudely said we have no tables I told her we will just have...drinks at the bar and she said very rudely you will wait a long time, there are only 2 of us working . I said no problem we 'll only have 1 drink (even though when I looked around they did not look very busy but perhaps for 2 employees it was). She turned around and said, like I said you will be waiting a long time! Wow, it was so obvious she did not want our party of 6 there so we left. Tried again on the 2nd night thinking that was a one-off rude employee...nope she was equally as rude so we left. Needless to say, we did not honor our reservations. Why would eat at a pub that treated customers like crap when there are so many other places on George Street with good food and a great atmosphere. The website is deceiving, don 't waste your time going there."

"I got here on Wednesday night in Sept. As I had expected, the food was nice, portions big and it comes with bread and soup or salad. I come to East Side because of value and consistency in food. When I arrived, the hostess... I and gave ne a menu and another card that lists some specials. One of them was the Italian soda. For $3.99 you can drink everything, either a berry aroma or stone fruit. I ordered stone fruit. It was very nice, so a refill was ordered. When the bill came, I calculated the full price for both drinks. I pointed this out to the server, they went and came back, showing a reduction in drinks costs, but still showing both drinks. I asked about it and was told to the manager that the Specialdid did not apply on Wednesday. I have instructed them to show me where that was said and why give me a card that offers everything you can drink. She went back to the manager and the two. Drink was removed. This should never happen and so a pleasant meal experience was ruined. When I left, I noticed a big sign at the entrance advertisement bthe aycd italian so, no mention that are not available on Wednesday. So I have to wonder how many were accused."
