"I faced a dilemma over the weekend when the heavens decided to pour all the rain it accumulated down in Sydney. That is to cancel or soldier on and enjoy a Little Hunan feast at Haymarket. I decided to go, obviously. Is this feast worth braving the storm? Hell yes!!! I would do it again. I love their popcorn chicken and their stir-fried pork intestines got me wanting for more. "My favourite cafe in Maroubra. Excellent food and coffee and as a barista I'm impressed that the machine is all manual (as it should be). For those who are determined to ruin great coffee with decaf, soy, vanilla syrup ect , Chalk has a generous no-charge policy for all of your ridiculous add-ons. Lovely Mexican decor and service, will continue to be a favourite!"

"Was expecting a good dinner as I have been here in the past. However, the quality of the service/food has dropped significantly since my last visit overall and it was not a pleasant experience at all, certainly not coming back again. <br>

We had to wait over 20 mins to be served and were mostly ignored by the staff with water only coming to our table 15 min into the meal. That is usually okay in my book as the place is jam packed at night, but the absolute worst I cannot tolerate is the attitude toward your customers. We had ordered the rib eye steak at medium-rare, and received a raw steak that was rarer than rare. I asked them to just char the steak a little more so I can at least cut the damn thing. It came back being almost well-done and the meat was so tough I still couldn't cut through it. It was simply inedible and not even seasoned properly. At this point I was disappointed and asked if they could re-do the steak. Instead the manager comes up to me and...

"After reading the reviews on here I was interested in trying this place for breakfast. Located next to the BNP Paribas building.<br>

I entered here and sat myself down but the staff were very busy dealing with a mass of customers. I waited for a while to get my menu but once they served me they were quite friendly. I ordered a Chai Latte first then decided I wanted to have the Baked Eggs. I was wondering where my drink and food was as waited for ages as saw someone from another table get their beverage first. Luckily for me my eggs and chai latte came out right after. My bread was brought out after I started eating my eggs (they also did not ask me my choice of bread which luckily I got sourdough). The eggs were a bit overcooked for my liking but enjoyed the flavours of the tomato and bacon. The latte was nice. <br>

I think had they had more staff or were less busy it might've been a different experience but due to the deluge of takeaway customers some of the dine in people got neglected."
