"In the midst of Topanga canyon, this is an Upscale place to sit outside and enjoy nature. The food is really good and the ambience cozy! I had the short ribs and they were perfect. The alcoves are a bit uncomfortable to sit in, don’t recommend them if you plan to stay a bit longer or have issues with your back. Because it’s outside and next to a stream there are mosquitos. The staff is really nice and there’s only valet parking."

"Acceptable place. If definitely back. Simple menu: this means enough variety, but not so much that you feel as if you lack something. I had the porridge with maple syrup and blueberries. It was so comfortable and delicious. You have self-made ketchup! Whaaa? Why only four stars? The waitress forgot one of our main dishes."
