"Really good donuts and service! The donuts and service are better than the Dunkin’ I sometimes go to. The donuts and this place are so cheap, and so good (some of the donuts are cheaper than a dollar, yet the best donuts I’ve ever had). The non-donut foods are ok compared to the donuts, but still great The donuts may take a while to make, so early in the morning there’s only things like the breakfast burrito/taco or kolachese."

"Our experience started off rough, but progressively got better. We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. The initial waitress was a bit cold to welcome us and never greeted our table; no menu or waters for well over 5 minutes. Finally, we were about to leave when another waitress came over and brought us menus and was overall helpful. The food was really good. Some of the dishes and sauces offer are a bit of a twist to traditional flavors, which can be hit/miss for kids. Also, no kids menu at any hours, but they do have burgers and chicken tenders that work. Definitely a unique modern/chic atmosphere for Friendswood. Perhaps a good venue for locals to dress up and gather without going to Houston."

"I have been living in the Houston area for almost 8 years and participated in many Tex Mexican restaurants in the area. I was taken to this Moreno a few weeks ago and was literally blown away because it's location. I didn't expect such a farewell to the south of the city. The chips and salsa are authentic homemade and the 'salsa picante' I asked to accompany the chips was excellent. To round it off, her iced tea is part of the best tea I drank. And I brewed myself. I have eaten only two different flavors of enchiladas and both were excellent and served piping hot. I recommend the Cilantro Enchiladas. The Fajita chicken simply melts in your mouth and comes with a satisfactory amount of queso. I look forward to a visit and try something else. This place really deserves a higher than 4.1 stars on Google Maps. But since I lived in the area, I learned that a high rating means nothing in the Houston Metropolis. I've eaten in some high-rated establishments I'd never see again. This Moreno deserves an attempt."
