"We stopped in to grab a late lunch/early dinner before catching the Capistrano Lights at the Mission and found this gem. We eat Mexican food often and have a fairly high expectation of it when going out to eat. The food selection is robust and serves breakfast all day. Our family ordered beef flautas, carne asada shrimp combo plate, chicken carne asada fajitas, and steak ranchero plate. All of these dishes were cooked to perfection and flavorful without over seasoning. The service was very welcoming, helpful, and prompt delivery with the food order to table . The micheladas and margaritas topped of the meal to make this an exquisite experience. The ambience and decorative dinning room made this truly an amazing, authentic, and epic experience!"

"Lovely family owned restaurant. The food was delicious. Nice portions. Returning with friends soon! First time we went the women we’re not very welcoming, Who worked there. This time it was totally different. A lovely woman serving the food was so helpful and kind and the young gentleman taking our order was very busy and yet he was very personal and so pleasant!!! Made for a beautiful evening."

"Delicious food as always at Sol Agave. You have our favorite margaritas and bean dip. My only disappointment this time was at the time that it took before a waiter even approached our table. We sat for 5-10 minutes waiting to order a drink and finally had to flag the hostess to have someone who takes our order. That was never the case in the past. The service has always been so fast."

"We wanted to try a new barstaurant. The food menu is filled with comfort food. We had the brussel sprouts appetizer and it was amazing, not too heavy or sweet it was perfect. The Herbed Califlower had a slight lemon flavor and is very light in taste. My husband ordered the Smokin Reuben. The corned beef was homemade , I think it's the best Ruben sandwich he has ever had. If you are into specialty cocktails you are in the right place. They have Whiskey, Bourbon and tequila drinks with lots of added taste such as spicy or sweet. The beer and wine list are extensive. We will be going back and thanks Will for such great service"

"Top notch bbq with an accessible outside area and bar. this place has an amazing bbq brisket, it is the only place that can compare with the brisket I do. the brisket burnt ends were an absolute pleasure with an immediate impact of taste and quality. we also had the sausages filled with delicious jalapeno and mais. the mac and cheese were good, but compared to the rest of the meal paved. we also have the jalapeno cheddar maisbrot, which was delicious with a spicy whistle. as another side we got the loaded kartoffel salad, which with what seemed to be swarming burn endbits. After we've filled up, we've swallowed the amazing banana bread pudding. this place is a place they do not think of trying if they have a desire for an amazing bbq. to finish the dinge, the staff is helpful and very friendly."
