"The Marinated Skirt Steak Bowl was delicious! I already love their tacos; the Grilled Shrimp and Fried Fish Tacos are wonderful. I like switching the tortillas to flour and adding avocado. Yum. Baja Style toppings are my favorite, but the Costal toppings are good too. I wasn't sure if getting steak at a fish place was a good idea. It was amazing. The meat was tender and delicious, and the sauce is heavenly. I am hooked!"

"We had a wonderful dining experience at this establishment. The food was truly exceptional, and the seating arrangement was comfortable and enjoyable. We celebrated a birthday and were seated on the side walk which allowed us to bring our fur babies along. I was particularly impressed by the fantastic selection of alcoholic beverages available. It truly complemented the meal and added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. Alce has certainly left a positive impression, and I look forward to returning in the future."

"Food is ok. Place was drab. Fish taco did not impress. Carne asada fries were good. Street taco was great. Highlight was they got lengua!! Which was tender, flavorful, and juicy! I?d return for that and cabeza. Yum! Kudos for using compostable dishes instead of styrofoam. I added an extra star cox of this. Otherwise I?d give 3 stars overall."

"The best though their rolled taco price is so strange. A price for three, then a very high price for five. You should sell them on the piece. The same price per taco, no matter how many you order. Like 1.50 per taco and .50 more for toppings. So, two of them loaded. Just my opinion."

"With the reviews we thought this would be great. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The staff was good. But found food very mediocre at best. After the meal a we went to the restroom. The dirty kitchen and dirty restroom pulled the overall score down. There were also a ton of flies on the bathroom walls. I made us all a little uneasy. "The real benefit to eating at the Wild Note is access to the BellyUp shows. The food is fine. The wine selection is quite good. But, IMHO, there are better restaurants in Solana Beach. It's really all about getting early entrance into the shows. The food isn't bad, it's just not the main show at Wild Note."

"This was our first time they moved out of La Jolla. Service was excellent, but the food was at best moderate. There were 5 of us who had the same feeling about food. Beautiful location and bar! Only for drinks."
