"Came here on a Saturday night for one of the girls ' birthday 's and OH WHAT A NIGHT! Let me just say that 'everything DEFINITELY starts with tequila '! Such a great night filled with delicious food, amazing tequila and a fantastic atmosphere! We got the 'grandes ' set menu, and you definitely get your bang for your buck with this one! I would definitely return to do it all over again! The ceviche and the tuna tostada were yummy! The street style corn cobs were DELICIOUS (so delicious to the point that half the people who don 't even like corn LOVED it), the southern fried crispy chicken was scrumptious, the BABY BACK PORK RIBS WERE SO MOUTH WATERING THAT YOU WOULD GO BACK EVEN JUST FOR THEM, and the quesadillas and taco 's were amazing too (although by this point, we had had so much tequila that we were beyond full- and too busy dancing around having a good time to eat them as they came out), and you can 't forget the churros 's with dulce de leche which were DIVINE!!!! There was also a sneaky salad in there, but I don 't generally make friends with salad so unfortunately I didn 't give it a try. But let me say- TEQUILA WAS DELICIOUS and food was amazing! WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!"

"My favourite cafe in Maroubra. Excellent food and coffee and as a barista I'm impressed that the machine is all manual (as it should be). For those who are determined to ruin great coffee with decaf, soy, vanilla syrup ect , Chalk has a generous no-charge policy for all of your ridiculous add-ons. Lovely Mexican decor and service, will continue to be a favourite!"

"Okay so I am not a pub a person and this reinforces why. We were upstairs and there is a terrace and smoking allowed so that wafts through the open concept bar. Service not enough staff on and the waits...were stupid at times. Has some great things in it eg the chandaliers but overall is dark and dingy and I think dark to hide the bad state of things. Won't be back."

"Nice food specially the Tacos and chicken quesadilla..The ambience is pretty simple as well. Being next to Chat Thai makes them get their overflow business. One of the better Mexican options in CBD. Being not too expensive either makes it an even better option ????"

"This was a nice place for drinks and a food after work on a Friday. Happy Hour drinks and Select Foods from 5-7.00. Food Way We had some chips, plate, crab shifter, salt and pepper squid and some mushroom-fried ball thing. All pretty decent quality opportunities and also the price way. Would recommend for casual work drinks and nibbles."
