"13FEB2022: Second visit, first time I did not generate a review, but it was a solid 4 stars....second visit, a small down trend. Still going with a 4 because definitely not a 3, think more 3.8 and we are navigating a pandemic. Grilled shrimp tacos for our vegetarian guest were ok. My taco plate was ok. The Birria tacos with soup were much better than ok. Service was good, vibe is pleasant. Really enjoy the option to sit outside on their patio. Will likely continue to try new places, but guessing in comparison to other Tucson options an experience here will range from 3.8 to 4.2."

"Unbelievable food! Delicious, big portions, excellent customer service! Fernando was the best! Always attentive and very friendly and always on top of everything. "I went during lunch and got their red tamales which were okay, I honestly think it was just my mood because it decided to be cloudy and gloomy of all days. The meat in the tamale was great though, my main issue were with their beans, which is mostly just preference because I like mine a little on the chunky side and theirs were a little more on the runny side which is how they make them it was seasoned well though! I honestly would want to come during dinner where I'm not in a rush to get back to work or school. Service though was friendly and great, I would get here early because their inside seating fills up fast and they get busy quick."

"A little wait on Saturday night, but it was good. visit them from phoenix and came here based on reviews and 10-20 price point. parking was busy. good sign. waited about 30 minutes, and observed many regular diners welcomed the staff as they came and went. the personal has some hugs, so there is a real care and loving family vibe here. despite the hurry, they did a good job clearing tables and sitting diners fast. eating came faster than I expected. my pork chili was excellent and so delicate my wife enjoyed her pork chimichanga and sohn ate every bit of his chimichanga. comes back when I have the chance."

"Kid friendly. Vegetarian friendly. And free chips and salsa from a self serve warmer bin is the cherry on top. Chips are free with $5 purchase. Beer and great cocktails. We got the mangoyita and it was delicious! You could easily just get drinks and free chips and salsa and call if a day! veggie tacos with squash are just ok would be better with just beans and cheese. The guacamole was too oniony and the small container they serve it in makes it hard to dip. But this place is great. We would be be back in a heartbeat. Prices are reasonable!"
