"After I had developed a taste for Cochinita Pibil in Merida (get it from restaurant La Chaya Maya! , I had some lukewarm experiences with the court since. So I asked the local Raimundo in my hostel where I can get the best Cochinita in Valladolid and he was quick to point out that this is street food as such should be eaten. I ate five tacos at the booth and could have gone on, a feast. At $11/taco (I think $25/Torta, it's of course an absolute bargain. There are no seats to sit, so you can just eat the food on the walkway. There is a water tank with a tap on the roadcar to wash your hands after that. Reorder and pay in the end. You can take it, too, but I'd say it's smart to hang around, you might want more of it. Apparently there are two different car owners who serve the place, but both are supposed to be great."

"We had a couple of agua frescos, melon and strawberry and pineapple, both really good. A mixture of tacos, tostadas and a soupa de limon. All really good, all it was missing was a few salsas, it could be that is not how the food is served around here. Great value, lovely waiter and great suroundings."

"This truly is such a special hidden gem and worth the journey to get to. The owners are incredibly kind and considerate, the food is so fresh and healthy with incredible flavour and the setting is so tranquil you might fall into a meditative state! we had the yaca burger, the tacos and the chocolate cake. a seriously incredible experience."
