"We walked in with a reservation and saw single couples at these beautiful large booths, but were offered a tiny warped table by the bar. The receptionist stated it’s due to large parties would we like to view tables outside in the back patio. We went back there and decided to sit. Our waiter came up and asked if we would like drinks. My husband ordered a cocktail and I asked “what frescas do you have?” The waiter stated watermelon and when he brought it back it was a whole cocktail with a redbull. I reminded him I only wanted just the Fresca. I never got it. This is one of those fake Mexican restaurants were the staff, crowd and food aren’t really representing the authentic culture. It’s a gimmick. Since our food also didn’t arrive we decided to leave and asked the waiter to cancel the order."

"Service was ok, although staff was friendly I feel like Sur really set the bar high for with being attentive. We sat by the bathrooms which sucked. It felt really odd making eye contact every time someone walked out of the men’s bathroom. Every time we would call out to the waiters it felt like no one could hear us. Over all I would go back because food and drinks were great as long as I don’t have to sit by the bathrooms"

"What about burritos at 1/2 on Saturday morning? nothing if you get them from here. here after a show in the laugh factory. the service was pretty good as the chefs were fast and the burrito was good. I command the best burrito. it was full of huh and as mentioned, tasted damn good. there are a few hangout spots to expect that there are many people coming after they finished party. the prices are reasonable and there is even a simple menu for people who come through smash."

"The place is absolutely beautiful, the service was very friendly and the menu looked great. But from the 4 items we’ve ordered, I only liked one the tortilla soup (it was really good! . The rest just didn’t have much flavor at all (maybe we’ve ordered the wrong items? and for $20 $22 a dish, it had absolutely nothing special about it. The Brussels sprouts and the cauliflower we ordered almost had no seasoning at all. I really loved the place itself but would not come back for food, unfortunately. "Food was tasty, though a little pricey for what you get. Likely due to the location. The service was indifferent, particularly the hostess and to a less degree the waiter. The assistant who kept our waters filled and helped up as we were leaving was the best though."
