"Short version: if you?ve got time to kill for pretty okay food, come to basico Long version: sat us at a dirty table, never brought silverware until AFTER the food was already served. Waited about 30 minutes for someone to take our drink order, rushedus to order food as well because if not he?d ?have to take this other tables order and then it?s an hour wait?. Brought one ofthe drinks in a dirty cup, TWICE. Brought the wrong food and had to wait another 15 minutes for the right one. Waited another25+ minutes for the check. It?s clear they need better management/systems to handle the volume of customers that themenu/location drives."

"I always love to come to lucky cafe. it is one of these iconic places to which they go if they want a good old fashion service for a great price. I have this time the hamburger steak and I love it as they differ by using chili beans instead of chile con queso. I love the fact that it comes with her signature hash browns instead of riding. their prices are excellent and eat is delicious."

"I enjoyed the food. They were honest that their avocados were going bad and didn?t want to serve me Guacamole or top any of the dishes with slices. They did offer a menu substitution for the Guacamole and that was Spinach and Crab cheese dip. Iaccepted but they failed to mention it was double the price. I could have said something when I pad but figured I should haveasked before blindly accepting a substitute. It would have been nice if they had offered the price difference or even bettersince the item I ordered wasn?t available they could have match the price if the Guac even after given me a different dish. TheMargarita was very good. I wouldn?t change an thing. The service was very friendly and pleasant. Am a little concerned withanother review of the tacos as I want to come back (I am not local) but hopefully will not be disappointed when I am able to trythe tacos."

"Wait staff and chef are very meticulous about their responsibility to the customer. Their cod with toasted garlic topping is my favorite-amazing and juicy flavors. I just discovered that their Enchilada plate is excellent as well. Their lemonade is superior, natural and not too sweet. I always tip both the waitress and the chef. I wish the fancy restaurants in town could match their quality and flavor on these items- they are that good."

"Great place!! It's got a oldie rock dive bar. They have leather couches and a bar with old rock playing, nice vibe of the place and a license plate wall that really fits. Service is great, quite a wait on the day I went because they have the bartender running the room as well, but we got chips and salsa tray for the wait though. Love the service once ag We had a nice lunch though. Drinks were so good, got the cucumber margarita and the butterfly shrimp (lemon pepper). The shrimp was quite lemony but amazing."

"There are so many dishes in the buffet, there is no way to taste them all in a visit. Not even half of it. I tried the Chilaquiles Verse and it's a 10/10. The menu item is 8/10. The finished egg station is a 10 and the Barbacoa is a 9. The service was incredible considering that the place was full. It's gonna be okay."
