"Usually when we go to Hacienda we have a pretty good dining experience. The servers are usually pleasant, the food is usually good (we are aware it's a chain restaurant and not truly authentic Mexican, but for what it is it's good). The chips and salsa are decent and they have the good ranch. Lol However, this last visit, our original server left much to be desired. We were seated in the dining area, assigned to a server who only had 3 other tables, all of which were nearing the end of their meals. We waited 10 minutes before she even bothered to welcome us and take our drink order even though she walked past our table several times, and nearly another 15 minutes before she brought us said drinks (3 soft drinks and a water nothing special from the bar), and again she had been back and forth to the other tables several times in that 15 minutes without so much as a word to us to say our drinks would be right out, nothing. When she finally bothered to bring us our drinks, we asked to be moved to the bar area, to a different server. After moving things were much better. The server we had was attentive, pleasant and sweet. She was much busier than the server we had to start with but managed to give all of her customers attention. She kept us updated on our food, letting us know when it would be out and kept our drinks and chips and salsa full."
