"This was hands down the best food we had in Spain! We are from the USA and were disappointed in the food quality we were finding (not in tourist locations). We stopped here on our first day in Gerona and were sad to find it closed the following day, after having such a great meal and drinks that the first day. Everything the four of us had from Mojito's to guacamole to tacos al pastor were just spectacular! Our server was from Mexico and I assume the owners are (maybe the server was part of the family). Really can't say enough about the Mojito's, the best I ever had and since we travel in Central America and the south, I think that says something. Truthfully if we could have eaten here every night that we spent in Spain, we would have. We sat outside, it was great!"

"We had made a dinner reservation through the hotel website for a Saturday at 9 pm. We genuinely looked forward to a pleasant evening, the last night of our stay in Spain. Upon arrival, there was immediately a lot of confusion, and while all the guests were sitting outside at a table on the balcony, there was only room for us in an empty, too cold restaurant. I asked why we could not sit outside, and there was not really an answer. I said let's think in solutions. There is enough room on the balcony, let's add a table for 2 of us, and then it's solved. It was all difficult; they looked difficult and had visibly no sense in solving the problem caused by themselves. One of the employees said it was inside or not. And the other employee wanted to put the blame on us by saying we should have called and not booked through the Fork. Strange, because we had booked through their own site, which has a reserve button and no phone number. I tried again at the hotel's reception, but that woman was clearly not on her best day and also started talking about not booking through The Fork. I wanted to say that I had done nothing with The Fork but through their own site, but I thought, never mind. We left the restaurant looking for something else."
