"Went here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. While our server was bright, bubbly and very pleasant my meal was lacking. I had the wings that was suppose to come with veggies (usually carrots and celery). The plate came out with the wings and two celery sticks!! When i questioned the server she said they were all out of carrots and offered some fries instead. When she returned from the kitchen she had two carrot sticks instead!! lol That would totally have been fine but the wings were awful and most likely the worst I've had ever. That being said my wife's salad with chicken was quite good and filling but we won't be going back for a repeat performance."

"Slow delivery of food after ordering, over 1 hour wait food was cold glasses for water and drinks tasted of soap downstairs washroom was filthy, we went across the street at Tim Hortons to use the facilities if it was not for the server< Ariel, we would have left the restaurant and rejected the food"

"Four of us lunched here for the first time. Parking was a bit of an issue in this gentrified area. The cafe's room is very spare and bright, clean, and had lovely like wood tables with white chairs. We ordered some soft tacos that came with salad ($16), the Rawitch, a taco, and a Caesar salad. The best deal was the most expensive, the soft taco meal - both tacos (made with onion bread shells) and plentiful salad were good. My taco that came in a collard green leaf was ok but that was it! Just sitting, bit and fat, on the plate, held together with a toothpick. The collard green was awful...very bitter, and I did not like it. The filling was good. The Rawitch was also not very big but quite tasty. One of the kids did not like the Caesar salad, said it was too spicy. ?? We had cold drinks and a carafe of coffee, very nice. ($5). But the big winners were the desserts. (We were still hungry...). We had a hemp seed bar, two key lime tarts ($5 each but delish!) and a chocolate macaroon or something dipped in chocolate, also delicious. This place is not cheap! We did not really feel filled up when we left but the desserts left a good taste in our mouths. Service was not really fast but it was fun watching the sidewalk traffic go by. If you are a committed vegan/raw person, you will appreciate this dining option. As for me, I don't know if I would go back."
