"One person had their new chicken bowl and the other had a burrito (with shredded beef . Both were tasty and certainly plentiful, but half the store was closed off with boards and construction equipment that maybe they're doing remodelling of some sort. It was clean and there was no noise coming from over there, but I am guessing that their offerings were somewhat limited due to the construction. (They didn't seem to have as many choices as I am used to; for example, there was no nachos. Overall, however, no problems and had a good lunch thanks to the helpful and patient people behind the counter."

"I hosted a wedding shower with 40+ guests at Hay Street a few weeks ago. The owners were phenomenal to work with, the space was great, the music was good and the food was fantastic! I also had lunch there the day before and enjoyed the food, music and pool tables. Whether hosting an event or stopping in for a meal and entertainment, I highly recommend Hay Street Bar Grill!"

"Its been a while since I order from Pepe"s in Matteson and now i remember WHY. the food was NOT Good. the Tomales I ordered with my beef burrito dinner was dry, small, and didn't look appetizing. call restaurant spoke to a young lady to voice my unhappiness with the food . her only response was that's why we put sauce on the Tomales and we don't make them in the restaurant. didn't offer any apology. The rest of the food also not good."
