"His is one of our favorite restaurants, with normally great service. Tonight was an anomaly. Service was slow and inattentive-not our usual waitresses, who are fantastic, and we were overcharged for a special. The other waitresses were also delivering chips and salsa to help her out . I didn 't notice the overcharge at the time, and since it is a bit of a drive, I called and told the person who answered the phone that I wouldn 't be coming back tonight, hoping she might say, Let us know the next time you come in . However, the response was Okay. Check your bill before you leave, and please offer whoever was answering the phone a lesson in customer service. The food is always good, and the service from at least two of the waitresses is top notch-deserving the above 20% tip we usually leave. We will be away for awhile."

"Our neighborhood group, Eastside Franklin Park Neighborhood Assoc., had an event on 8/11/19 and had the good fortune of hiring Smokin Aces BBQ to provide the food and beverages. I don't mind telling you we were extremely pleased with the offerings and the price, many people there were impressed as well, so I do believe there will be more business coming your way.
