"I've uploaded some photos of the view here which is totally awesome. Can't beat that view for a morning coffee. I only got a coffee but the muffins and other food looked good as well. And finally, the coffee was hot, strong and tasty. Also a really good place to go if you like panting random dogs"

"This is a great place to stay overnight and for food. We had the haloumi burger and the Superfood salad with chicken. Everything was delicious, the portions generous and they also have a good selection of drinks. The staff are lovely and the environment/vibe funky and welcoming. The room was clean and modern. Recommended."

"Came into Newcastle looking for a cafe who could cater for my hubby's and my diets.. We found Black Sheep Darby! Hats off to the chef. I had the Wagu Cheese Burger... OMG so juicy and hubby's breaky was the best he's had on Darby St!! Rhianna was amazing, very attentive and couldn't do enough for us.. And to whom made the flat white coffee.. That's how you make one! Coffee beans not burnt.. Deliciously Creamy and smooth, the way a coffee should be. Amazing all around, Thanks guys! Can't wait to come back."

"Had the vegan burrito with falafel on it called the chickpeas Burrito, it was a little dry. Also had the vegetarian burrito that had vegien and tofu on them, but made it vegan by removing the cheese and acidic cream. I personally liked the Tofu one more. They also sell corn chips with guacamole and salsa, which was good. They have both interior and exterior seats. The exterior seats are both at the front and back in a private area from the road."

"Amazing eating and personal. When we arrived, the house was full and it was clear that her focus was on offering everything necessary. that was delicious. I ordered a piccolo and you benedikt. it was delicious, staring at her sauce. they loved the fact that they were concerned to take us to the house because of my mother-in-law and my little child, it was a bit cold. vegetarian options: I have seen the option in their menu, but cannot remember the details. Accessibility: they can access a wheelchair, not move much space, but with effort everything will work out."

"Four friends with lots to catch up- we had a delightful banquet, tasty, colourful food, reasonable portions. It was a quiet Monday night- our waitress (Leaht?) was helpful but unobtrusive. We stayed chatting without being pressured to eat/drink more or even pay the bill! If it had a super view or décor I would have given it more stars but I intend to return for the food and ambience, gentilness of the place."
