"The only thing we didn't like about Dan's Cafe was his hours. We would have liked to go to dinner there, but they closed at 4:00. Food, service and prices were great. We loved the Baja fish and shrimp tacos on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The green drinks were fresh and delish. The place had a cool mood. It was funny watching people playing ping pong. Dan is a real character! It was nice to see a mix of Mexican and gringo diners. A few days the café was so busy that we had to wait for a table. One of our lavish places to eat in PE."

"We have eaten almost every day at sabor de costa. the shrimp tacos were amazingly delicious, accompanied by gurke and lime water. there were only 5 tables, and they were almost always taken. the prices were reasonable and the service was good."

"Stayed at the hotel across the road and went to El Jardin de Rafaela the first night I was in Puerto Escondido. The Restaurant is situated on the beach and has chairs and tables in the sand. The hosts are friendly, charming and very helpful. The place is not expensive and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, mostly fresh caught fish. The fresh juice is delicious and the food was great every time. I strongly recommend this place if you like fish, wish to enjoy a quiet venue and if you appreciate the view of the Pacific you should definitely got to El Jardin de Rafaela for lunch or breakfast."
