"Ali's life history and his engaging openness made me come back for six of the seven days I was in La Playita. Sometimes I would eat, but if I had been out elsewhere all day, I would just have a beer and visit with him. He has friends from all over the world, even one near my home town in British Columbia. I called her when I got back home and she was thrilled to hear about Ali. One day he will sell out, as he is in his late sixties now. So I will return before he leaves. He has a sweet dog that he has raised since it was dropped off as a puppy with her eyes not even opened yet. Just the measure of the man."

"Son tacos que he visto crecer, estos tacos en un principio se ofrecían por donde está la iglesia en la misma Himalaya a un lado de un oxxo, en nuestra época de estudiantes cada fría mañana llegábamos a desayunar estos calientitos tacos de canasta crecí con este hombre que llegaba en una moto y en donde ofrecía unos deliciosos tacos y un agua de frutas exquisitas, conforme fue creciendo la zona desconozco si siguiendo a los trabajadores de la construcción que eran su nicho de trabajo o por qué los locatarios lo obligaron a cambiarse de lugar, pero así hasta llegar a donde a encuentran ahora instalados ahora con toda la familia ha crecido con dos sucursales más uno en salvador Nava esquina con Xicoténcatl y otro con rumbo a plaza san luis de este último después comparto la dirección exacta pero son tacos con un rico sabor y una gran pizca de nostalgia llegan aproximadamente a las 9:20 desconozco a qué hora se retiren pero supongo que alrededor de las 13:00 horas ."

"Comida mexicana, tacos, tortas, quesadillas, sopas, hamburguesas, molletes, etc..Todo lo que he comido sabe delicioso y está bien servido.Mi favorito Sandwich Bife, lleva jamón, trozos de tocino, mayonesa, lechuga, jitomate, papas a la francesa. Puedes aderezarlo además con chimichurri (en San Luis es una salsa rosa, un poco picosa, pero buenísima).Las quesadillas de maíz, mis favoritas bisteck y arrachera.También hay sopas y agua de sabor del día, que son estupendas.Los costos están bien, el sandwich en $40 pesos, agua $15, sopas $35, tortas $40"
