"Lousy. Not clean. Poor quality food. Tacos arrived cold. Quesadillas arrived soggy and doughy. One of our party had a food allergy and given inaccurate information on prep. Restrooms we're filthy. Floors were slippery from not being cleaned well. Service was very slow and inattentive. If you are looking for Mexican food, look elsewhere. Would not recommend."

"Wonderful mom and pop joint.A great way to beat the chain shops. Great flavors and a menu with variety really make this a must visit place.The fried plantains and corn cakes are the biggest hits!My only complaint is that everything is just a little saucy/wet. Normally, I can be okay with that but the sauces are also a bit sweet. This overwhelms the taste buds a little. A fish or shrimp taco should not really be dripping sweet sauce."

"We found this wonderful family-run dining house in a shopping center outside the historical tourist district of St. Augustine. We liked it so much that we came here 3 times at our 4 nights in St. Augustines. The dishes we tried were: Chickens Tortilla Soup The soup was delicious – made with real chicken broth and full of fresh ingredients and taste, which was improved by adding 5 drops of Habanero sauce, as recommended by the owner Carlos. We had this every time we visited because we loved it!! Largest Burrito pastor (spicy grilled pork) with paper thin flour tortillas and the perfect amount of rice, beans, salad, cheese and meat. Taco salad campechano – fresh crispy flour tortilla chips with salad, beans, cheese, pico de gallo, avocado, steak and chorizo. Pupusa's delicious maize flat cake filled with delicious Porky Chicharron and cheese. Tacos – soft Maistortillas, filled with spicy Choorizo, lined with Zilantro and finished with a squeeze of lime. We also loved the house Salsas. Meals here are only sensational – they are made with love and pride and you can simply taste it in food!"
