"Maizal has incredible quality food at incredibly reasonable prices. The no-flour corn tortillas are hands down the best I've ever had I can't eat other tortillas now. Gaby, Ivan and Vero share a righteous dedication to local, zero-waste, healthy and authentic Mexican food. I am so happy a place like this exists in Toronto."

"Eggs Benedict excellent. Caesar salad was average at best. The dressing was Not mixed evenly and croutons were added on top. I think it should all be tossed to evenly coat the salad and croutons with dressing. Added chicken, it was a good portion but dry and probably cooked a few hours before I ordered it, then warmed up. Not great.Eating out in Toronto is certainly expensive these days; this is a pretty basic pub place and the lunch/brunch cost $70 for 2 entrées and 1 drink each. Pricey! No wonder the patio was mostly empty (Saturday) so dead atmosphere. Also lots of wasps (hornets) this time of year, not good!Parking: Parking is always a challenge on Bloor. We found a spot close by on side street. This is your best option and is free."
