"Supper was amazing! Doesn't hurt to know the owner regardless, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was fun. We sat on the outside covered deck on a chilly, rainy evening but we were still comfy and warm. Appies were delish the cheese sticks had a fantastic homemade batter and gooey cheddar filling. Prawns were tastey. For mains I had the Asian noodle salad with prawns amazing. Hubby had the fettichini with snapper and he loved it. The tomato sause seasoning was fantastic. Son #1 had the veggie burger and says it was the best best he's ever had. Son #2 had the beef burger which he's always a fan of . Overall the experience was Fantastic!"

"We visited there as we arrived to Ukee, the food was delicious and excellent service! Very friendly staff, I had the breakfast poutine my husband had the burrito and my kids hotdogs! Little one has renamed his hotdogs as 'The awesome dog '. We walked out very happy and satisfied! Definitely coming back next visit to Uculet."

"I have taken a two-month stay from my work to travel the western united states and canada with my good friends. Of course, I have seen a large number of surf shops and camping sites. here. there is one of the...dope, unlautered, cool and friendly surf shop on the same piece land where the camping site is. the campsite is hidden in this great, old-fashioned northwest rainforest landscape with picturesque moss and huge trees everywhere. near the parking lot is a huge community fire pit for campers. there are also bathroom and, I believe shower when I remember correctly, before location now in the surfshop. this is not a flicking commercial, mall type billabong or chain boardwalk surfshop. that is a lets-get-you-on-the-waves type of surf shop. it has what they need and nothing else. If they're a surfer with their own board, then they'll have them with them that they need, like wakes, blows, and a wet suit if they don't have their own. if they are a surfer w/o a board because for example they are like me and do not allow their type of transport, then they also covered them. because these young have some of the most competitive surfboard rentals in the tofino area. combine this with the discount they get when they camp here and this place is the best. we were in a mistresort (mckenzie beach resort) near to tofino, where the people were packed like sardines with campsites on the rafting road. we moved here, good movement. this place is super covered and has fantastic staff that manages the surfshop (a family and friends operation from what I can say.) I am originally from the middle west and learned to surf on one of the great lakes (lake superior.) why is that relevant? well, they had surf 's up on every morning in the surf shop and they could go, a tasse joe, jo catch the surf break for me. one of the coolest places I was traveling throughout my two months."

"After visiting Tofino in the daytime, we went over to Ucluelet as that’s where we’re staying on this trip.  Our first night, it took us a while to decide on what to eat for dinner.  We didn’t want just regular pizza and burgers, and I had been wanting oysters, so after much debating, we finally decided on Ravenlady Oyster Forte."

"I should have believed the Trip Advisor rating and skipped this restaurant, but other venues were packed and we were hungry. Service was not slow (as many reviews indicate) but the hamburgers were awful: Really oddly flavored. Plus I asked for my cheeseburger plain and it came loaded with everything. When I mentioned this and that I needed a new bun without sauce, an un-toasted bun on a small plate was plunked down on the table a couple of minutes later. I could not finish the meal. Fries were so so. The view is good, but not worth the price of a meal."

"So nice to see a restaurant has moved into the space! We shared 5 of the small plates and loved all of them, we ended up fighting over the last bites. It has a wonderful view of the harbour, an open kitchen, and great food and service. We loved the edamame, seafood pancakes, and dumplings!"
