"I order at 6:30 and at 7:15 I was still waiting for my food. I pulled around the young lady I talk to was polite the young man on the other hand was rude. Asked about my food he just told me the price I asked him was it sitting that whole 40 min he claim not. Get home and it?s cold and my tortillas are hard so ya they was sitting. This use to me my favorite place to eat now I will look else where."

"We wanted authentic Mexican breakfast so we walked to the Colonia to El Sazon. The outside is simple but clean. The service was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. Authentic. Huevos Rancheros was perfect and also had two chili sauces to chose from. My husband had a Mexican scramble with all sorts of vegetables and black beans. We ate every last bite. Muy delicioso."

"I stumbled on this place after having sat at East Side Mario’s across the street. Dreadful place and never did see a server. Walking back to my mechanic, I spotted this restaurant and decided to give it a shot. I am extremely happy I did....I was met promptly at the door and did all the quick and well handled Covid stuff. Great welcome. Chose to sit inside due to the heat so was shown a window seat. Waiter (Ben) was promptly there and gave me a paper menu as my phone was out of juice. Nothing was an issue. I chose a Stiegl alcohol free beer and a beef dip sandwich. The beer arrived before I thought about it and the sandwich not long after. Both were real good but I think the beef sandwich was the best I’ve ever had. Most places serve the beef cooked until it’s really dead, ugh. The beef on this was pink in all the right places and came with crispy onions and a creamy horseradish sauce. The fries were short but crispy and hot. I believe the ‘jus’ part was a real reduction and not some packet stuff. Full of flavour. Kudos to the Chef! Ben was pleasant, polite, and genuinely seemed like he cared about his profession and his customers. Attentive without being intrusive and always seemed to show up at the right time. Excellent service. I’m planning to return to this location with my wife in a couple of weeks for lunch. (It’s Kim’s from home) I highly recommend this place."
