"What a disappointment! Have been wanting to try this restaurant for some time and being that it was my friend 's birthday, thought it would be a great place. Intimate, small and quiet. We both ordered the course menu. I had the fish and he had the meat. Bread came out and it was ice cold and some kind of pita bread. Took forever for the first course to come out and it was cold. I had the lobster strudel , which was cold in the middle. My friend had the boar meatballs and they too were cold in the middle and tasted old. The salads came about a half hour later and thank goodness we had a good buzz going because the salads were absolutely inedible. The anchovies on the Caesar salad were rancid and the fried goat cheese on my salad tasted as if the oil it was fried in was old. When we told the waitress the salad was not good her immediate response was Does it taste fishy? After waiting another 30 minutes for the next course, we decided it would be best to take the remaining courses to go, as we knew it would 't get better and guess what, it didn 't. The token drop by of Loretta Paganini was the highlight of the night. Desert was very good! In short, the food tasted old and as if it was badly warmed up in a microwave. Not worth the $200 plus tip ! Too bad."
